Swedish fashion retailer Lager 157 is opening its first flagship store in the Netherlands at Grote Marktstraat 35 in the center of The Hague. With a retail space of approximately 2,800 sqm, spread over the ground floor, basement, and first floor, the new location offers space for the assortment of women's, men's, and children's clothing.
The long-term lease agreement marks a significant step in Lager 157's expansion strategy, which aims to open at least five stores in the Netherlands this year. The store is planned to open end of March. The concept focuses on functional, sustainable basics with a strong price-quality ratio, fitting with the brand's core values: design, quality, and affordability.
The building, previously used by MediaMarkt, has recently been completely renovated. The store is located in a prime location in The Hague's city center, surrounded by important urban hotspots such as Den Haag Nieuw Centrum and the Wijnhavenkwartier. Thanks to its central location, the flagship store is easily accessible for pedestrians, cyclists, and travelers using public transport. For visitors arriving by car, there are various parking garages in the immediate vicinity.
